أَلۡهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ
﴿١﴾
Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you(1)
Tafseer:
حَتَّىٰ زُرۡتُمُ ٱلۡمَقَابِرَ
﴿٢﴾
Until you visit the graveyards.(2)
Tafseer:
كَلَّا سَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ
﴿٣﴾
No! You are going to know.(3)
Tafseer:
ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ
﴿٤﴾
Then no! You are going to know.(4)
Tafseer:
كَلَّا لَوۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ عِلۡمَ ٱلۡیَقِینِ
﴿٥﴾
No! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty...(5)
Tafseer:
لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلۡجَحِیمَ
﴿٦﴾
You will surely see the Hellfire.(6)
Tafseer:
ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَیۡنَ ٱلۡیَقِینِ
﴿٧﴾
Then you will surely see it with the eye of certainty.(7)
Tafseer:
ثُمَّ لَتُسۡـَٔلُنَّ یَوۡمَىِٕذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِیمِ
﴿٨﴾
Then you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure.(8)
