وَٱلۡمُرۡسَلَـٰتِ عُرۡفࣰا
﴿١﴾
By those [winds] sent forth in gusts(1)
Tafseer:
فَٱلۡعَـٰصِفَـٰتِ عَصۡفࣰا
﴿٢﴾
And the winds that blow violently(2)
Tafseer:
وَٱلنَّـٰشِرَ ٰتِ نَشۡرࣰا
﴿٣﴾
And [by] the winds that spread [clouds](3)
Tafseer:
فَٱلۡفَـٰرِقَـٰتِ فَرۡقࣰا
﴿٤﴾
And those [angels] who bring criterion(4)
Tafseer:
فَٱلۡمُلۡقِیَـٰتِ ذِكۡرًا
﴿٥﴾
And those [angels] who deliver a message(5)
Tafseer:
عُذۡرًا أَوۡ نُذۡرًا
﴿٦﴾
As justification or warning,(6)
Tafseer:
إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَ ٰقِعࣱ
﴿٧﴾
Indeed, what you are promised is to occur.(7)
Tafseer:
فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتۡ
﴿٨﴾
So when the stars are obliterated(8)
Tafseer:
وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَاۤءُ فُرِجَتۡ
﴿٩﴾
And when the heaven is opened(9)
Tafseer:
وَإِذَا ٱلۡجِبَالُ نُسِفَتۡ
﴿١٠﴾
And when the mountains are blown away(10)
Tafseer:
وَإِذَا ٱلرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتۡ
﴿١١﴾
And when the messengers' time has come...(11)
Tafseer:
لِأَیِّ یَوۡمٍ أُجِّلَتۡ
﴿١٢﴾
For what Day was it postponed?(12)
Tafseer:
لِیَوۡمِ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ
﴿١٣﴾
For the Day of Judgement.(13)
Tafseer:
وَمَاۤ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا یَوۡمُ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ
﴿١٤﴾
And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement?(14)
Tafseer:
وَیۡلࣱ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ
﴿١٥﴾
Woe, that Day, to the deniers.(15)
Tafseer:
أَلَمۡ نُهۡلِكِ ٱلۡأَوَّلِینَ
﴿١٦﴾
Did We not destroy the former peoples?(16)
Tafseer:
ثُمَّ نُتۡبِعُهُمُ ٱلۡـَٔاخِرِینَ
﴿١٧﴾
Then We will follow them with the later ones.(17)
Tafseer:
كَذَ ٰلِكَ نَفۡعَلُ بِٱلۡمُجۡرِمِینَ
﴿١٨﴾
Thus do We deal with the criminals.(18)
Tafseer:
وَیۡلࣱ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ
﴿١٩﴾
Woe, that Day, to the deniers.(19)
Tafseer:
أَلَمۡ نَخۡلُقكُّم مِّن مَّاۤءࣲ مَّهِینࣲ
﴿٢٠﴾
Did We not create you from a liquid disdained?(20)
Tafseer:
فَجَعَلۡنَـٰهُ فِی قَرَارࣲ مَّكِینٍ
﴿٢١﴾
And We placed it in a firm lodging(21)
Tafseer:
إِلَىٰ قَدَرࣲ مَّعۡلُومࣲ
﴿٢٢﴾
For a known extent.(22)
Tafseer:
فَقَدَرۡنَا فَنِعۡمَ ٱلۡقَـٰدِرُونَ
﴿٢٣﴾
And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine.(23)
Tafseer:
وَیۡلࣱ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ
﴿٢٤﴾
Woe, that Day, to the deniers.(24)
Tafseer:
أَلَمۡ نَجۡعَلِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ كِفَاتًا
﴿٢٥﴾
Have We not made the earth a container(25)
Tafseer:
أَحۡیَاۤءࣰ وَأَمۡوَ ٰتࣰا
﴿٢٦﴾
Of the living and the dead?(26)
Tafseer:
وَجَعَلۡنَا فِیهَا رَوَ ٰسِیَ شَـٰمِخَـٰتࣲ وَأَسۡقَیۡنَـٰكُم مَّاۤءࣰ فُرَاتࣰا
﴿٢٧﴾
And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water.(27)
Tafseer:
وَیۡلࣱ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ
﴿٢٨﴾
Woe, that Day, to the deniers.(28)
Tafseer:
ٱنطَلِقُوۤاْ إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ
﴿٢٩﴾
[They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny.(29)
Tafseer:
ٱنطَلِقُوۤاْ إِلَىٰ ظِلࣲّ ذِی ثَلَـٰثِ شُعَبࣲ
﴿٣٠﴾
Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns(30)
Tafseer:
لَّا ظَلِیلࣲ وَلَا یُغۡنِی مِنَ ٱللَّهَبِ
﴿٣١﴾
[But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame."(31)
Tafseer:
إِنَّهَا تَرۡمِی بِشَرَرࣲ كَٱلۡقَصۡرِ
﴿٣٢﴾
Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress,(32)
Tafseer:
كَأَنَّهُۥ جِمَـٰلَتࣱ صُفۡرࣱ
﴿٣٣﴾
As if they were yellowish [black] camels.(33)
Tafseer:
وَیۡلࣱ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ
﴿٣٤﴾
Woe, that Day, to the deniers.(34)
Tafseer:
هَـٰذَا یَوۡمُ لَا یَنطِقُونَ
﴿٣٥﴾
This is a Day they will not speak,(35)
Tafseer:
وَلَا یُؤۡذَنُ لَهُمۡ فَیَعۡتَذِرُونَ
﴿٣٦﴾
Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse.(36)
Tafseer:
وَیۡلࣱ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ
﴿٣٧﴾
Woe, that Day, to the deniers.(37)
Tafseer:
هَـٰذَا یَوۡمُ ٱلۡفَصۡلِۖ جَمَعۡنَـٰكُمۡ وَٱلۡأَوَّلِینَ
﴿٣٨﴾
This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples.(38)
Tafseer:
فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمۡ كَیۡدࣱ فَكِیدُونِ
﴿٣٩﴾
So if you have a plan, then plan against Me.(39)
Tafseer:
وَیۡلࣱ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ
﴿٤٠﴾
Woe, that Day, to the deniers.(40)
Tafseer:
إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِینَ فِی ظِلَـٰلࣲ وَعُیُونࣲ
﴿٤١﴾
Indeed, the righteous will be among shades and springs(41)
Tafseer:
وَفَوَ ٰكِهَ مِمَّا یَشۡتَهُونَ
﴿٤٢﴾
And fruits from whatever they desire,(42)
Tafseer:
كُلُواْ وَٱشۡرَبُواْ هَنِیۤـَٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ
﴿٤٣﴾
[Being told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do."(43)
Tafseer:
إِنَّا كَذَ ٰلِكَ نَجۡزِی ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِینَ
﴿٤٤﴾
Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good.(44)
Tafseer:
وَیۡلࣱ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ
﴿٤٥﴾
Woe, that Day, to the deniers.(45)
Tafseer:
كُلُواْ وَتَمَتَّعُواْ قَلِیلًا إِنَّكُم مُّجۡرِمُونَ
﴿٤٦﴾
[O disbelievers], eat and enjoy yourselves a little; indeed, you are criminals.(46)
Tafseer:
وَیۡلࣱ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ
﴿٤٧﴾
Woe, that Day, to the deniers.(47)
Tafseer:
وَإِذَا قِیلَ لَهُمُ ٱرۡكَعُواْ لَا یَرۡكَعُونَ
﴿٤٨﴾
And when it is said to them, "Bow [in prayer]," they do not bow.(48)
Tafseer:
وَیۡلࣱ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ
﴿٤٩﴾
Woe, that Day, to the deniers.(49)
Tafseer:
فَبِأَیِّ حَدِیثِۭ بَعۡدَهُۥ یُؤۡمِنُونَ
﴿٥٠﴾
Then in what statement after the Qur'an will they believe?(50)
