وَیۡلࣱ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةࣲ لُّمَزَةٍ
﴿١﴾
Woe to every (kind of) scandal-monger and-backbiter,(1)
Tafseer:
ٱلَّذِی جَمَعَ مَالࣰا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ
﴿٢﴾
Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by,(2)
Tafseer:
یَحۡسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥۤ أَخۡلَدَهُۥ
﴿٣﴾
Thinking that his wealth would make him last for ever!(3)
Tafseer:
كَلَّاۖ لَیُنۢبَذَنَّ فِی ٱلۡحُطَمَةِ
﴿٤﴾
By no means! He will be sure to be thrown into That which Breaks to Pieces,(4)
Tafseer:
وَمَاۤ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡحُطَمَةُ
﴿٥﴾
And what will explain to thee That which Breaks to Pieces?(5)
Tafseer:
نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُوقَدَةُ
﴿٦﴾
(It is) the Fire of (the Wrath of) Allah kindled (to a blaze),(6)
Tafseer:
ٱلَّتِی تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةِ
﴿٧﴾
The which doth mount (Right) to the Hearts:(7)
Tafseer:
إِنَّهَا عَلَیۡهِم مُّؤۡصَدَةࣱ
﴿٨﴾
It shall be made into a vault over them,(8)
Tafseer:
فِی عَمَدࣲ مُّمَدَّدَةِۭ
﴿٩﴾
In columns outstretched.(9)
