سَبِّحِ ٱسۡمَ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡأَعۡلَى
﴿١﴾
Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High,(1)
Tafseer:
ٱلَّذِی خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ
﴿٢﴾
Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion;(2)
Tafseer:
وَٱلَّذِی قَدَّرَ فَهَدَىٰ
﴿٣﴾
Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance;(3)
Tafseer:
وَٱلَّذِیۤ أَخۡرَجَ ٱلۡمَرۡعَىٰ
﴿٤﴾
And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture,(4)
Tafseer:
فَجَعَلَهُۥ غُثَاۤءً أَحۡوَىٰ
﴿٥﴾
And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble.(5)
Tafseer:
سَنُقۡرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنسَىٰۤ
﴿٦﴾
By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget,(6)
Tafseer:
إِلَّا مَا شَاۤءَ ٱللَّهُۚ إِنَّهُۥ یَعۡلَمُ ٱلۡجَهۡرَ وَمَا یَخۡفَىٰ
﴿٧﴾
Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden.(7)
Tafseer:
وَنُیَسِّرُكَ لِلۡیُسۡرَىٰ
﴿٨﴾
And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path).(8)
Tafseer:
فَذَكِّرۡ إِن نَّفَعَتِ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ
﴿٩﴾
Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer).(9)
Tafseer:
سَیَذَّكَّرُ مَن یَخۡشَىٰ
﴿١٠﴾
The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah):(10)
Tafseer:
وَیَتَجَنَّبُهَا ٱلۡأَشۡقَى
﴿١١﴾
But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones,(11)
Tafseer:
ٱلَّذِی یَصۡلَى ٱلنَّارَ ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰ
﴿١٢﴾
Who will enter the Great Fire,(12)
Tafseer:
ثُمَّ لَا یَمُوتُ فِیهَا وَلَا یَحۡیَىٰ
﴿١٣﴾
In which they will then neither die nor live.(13)
Tafseer:
قَدۡ أَفۡلَحَ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ
﴿١٤﴾
But those will prosper who purify themselves,(14)
Tafseer:
وَذَكَرَ ٱسۡمَ رَبِّهِۦ فَصَلَّىٰ
﴿١٥﴾
And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer.(15)
Tafseer:
بَلۡ تُؤۡثِرُونَ ٱلۡحَیَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡیَا
﴿١٦﴾
Day (behold), ye prefer the life of this world;(16)
Tafseer:
وَٱلۡـَٔاخِرَةُ خَیۡرࣱ وَأَبۡقَىٰۤ
﴿١٧﴾
But the Hereafter is better and more enduring.(17)
Tafseer:
إِنَّ هَـٰذَا لَفِی ٱلصُّحُفِ ٱلۡأُولَىٰ
﴿١٨﴾
And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),-(18)
Tafseer:
صُحُفِ إِبۡرَ ٰهِیمَ وَمُوسَىٰ
﴿١٩﴾
The Books of Abraham and Moses.(19)
