Surah At-Tin (The Fig) - Aya count 8
وَٱلتِّینِ وَٱلزَّیۡتُونِ ﴿١﴾
By the Fig and the Olive,
وَهَـٰذَا ٱلۡبَلَدِ ٱلۡأَمِینِ ﴿٣﴾
And this City of security,-
لَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنَ فِیۤ أَحۡسَنِ تَقۡوِیمࣲ ﴿٤﴾
We have indeed created man in the best of moulds,
ثُمَّ رَدَدۡنَـٰهُ أَسۡفَلَ سَـٰفِلِینَ ﴿٥﴾
Then do We abase him (to be) the lowest of the low,-
إِلَّا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ فَلَهُمۡ أَجۡرٌ غَیۡرُ مَمۡنُونࣲ ﴿٦﴾
Except such as believe and do righteous deeds: For they shall have a reward unfailing.
فَمَا یُكَذِّبُكَ بَعۡدُ بِٱلدِّینِ ﴿٧﴾
Then what can, after this, contradict thee, as to the judgment (to come)?
أَلَیۡسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَحۡكَمِ ٱلۡحَـٰكِمِینَ ﴿٨﴾
Is not Allah the wisest of judges?
