Surah Al-Ma'arij (The Ways of Ascent) - Aya count 44

سَأَلَ سَاۤىِٕلُۢ بِعَذَابࣲ وَاقِعࣲ ﴿١﴾

Un tale ha chiesto un castigo immediato.

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

لِّلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ لَیۡسَ لَهُۥ دَافِعࣱ ﴿٢﴾

Per i miscredenti nessuno potrà impedirlo

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ ذِی ٱلۡمَعَارِجِ ﴿٣﴾

[poiché proviene] da Allah, il Signore delle Vie dell'Ascesa.

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

تَعۡرُجُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ إِلَیۡهِ فِی یَوۡمࣲ كَانَ مِقۡدَارُهُۥ خَمۡسِینَ أَلۡفَ سَنَةࣲ ﴿٤﴾

Gli angeli e lo Spirito ascendono a Lui in un Giorno la cui durata è di cinquantamila anni.

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

فَٱصۡبِرۡ صَبۡرࣰا جَمِیلًا ﴿٥﴾

Pazienta dunque di bella pazienza.

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

إِنَّهُمۡ یَرَوۡنَهُۥ بَعِیدࣰا ﴿٦﴾

Essi lo considerano come fosse lontano,

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

وَنَرَىٰهُ قَرِیبࣰا ﴿٧﴾

mentre Noi lo vediamo vicino.

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

یَوۡمَ تَكُونُ ٱلسَّمَاۤءُ كَٱلۡمُهۡلِ ﴿٨﴾

Il Giorno in cui il cielo sarà come metallo fuso

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

وَتَكُونُ ٱلۡجِبَالُ كَٱلۡعِهۡنِ ﴿٩﴾

e le montagne come [fiocchi] di lana,

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

وَلَا یَسۡـَٔلُ حَمِیمٌ حَمِیمࣰا ﴿١٠﴾

nessun amico sollecito chiederà dell'amico,

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

یُبَصَّرُونَهُمۡۚ یَوَدُّ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُ لَوۡ یَفۡتَدِی مِنۡ عَذَابِ یَوۡمِىِٕذِۭ بِبَنِیهِ ﴿١١﴾

anche se sarà dato loro di vedersi. Il malvagio vorrebbe riscattarsi dal castigo di quel Giorno, offrendo i suoi figli,

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

وَصَـٰحِبَتِهِۦ وَأَخِیهِ ﴿١٢﴾

la sua sposa e suo fratello,

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

وَفَصِیلَتِهِ ٱلَّتِی تُـٔۡوِیهِ ﴿١٣﴾

e la sua gente che lo ospitava,

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

وَمَن فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ جَمِیعࣰا ثُمَّ یُنجِیهِ ﴿١٤﴾

e tutto quel che è sulla terra, ogni cosa che potesse salvarlo.

كَلَّاۤۖ إِنَّهَا لَظَىٰ ﴿١٥﴾

Niente [lo salverà]: sarà una fiammata

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

نَزَّاعَةࣰ لِّلشَّوَىٰ ﴿١٦﴾

a strappargli brutalmente la pelle del cranio.

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

تَدۡعُواْ مَنۡ أَدۡبَرَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ ﴿١٧﴾

Essa chiamerà chi avrà volto le spalle e se ne sarà andato

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

وَجَمَعَ فَأَوۡعَىٰۤ ﴿١٨﴾

[chi] accumulava e tesaurizzava.

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

۞ إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنَ خُلِقَ هَلُوعًا ﴿١٩﴾

In verità l'uomo è stato creato instabile;

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

إِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلشَّرُّ جَزُوعࣰا ﴿٢٠﴾

prostrato quando lo coglie sventura,

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلۡخَیۡرُ مَنُوعًا ﴿٢١﴾

arrogante nel benessere;

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

إِلَّا ٱلۡمُصَلِّینَ ﴿٢٢﴾

eccetto coloro che eseguono l'orazione,

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

ٱلَّذِینَ هُمۡ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمۡ دَاۤىِٕمُونَ ﴿٢٣﴾

e sono costanti nella loro orazione,

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

وَٱلَّذِینَ فِیۤ أَمۡوَ ٰ⁠لِهِمۡ حَقࣱّ مَّعۡلُومࣱ ﴿٢٤﴾

e sui cui beni c'è un riconosciuto diritto,

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

لِّلسَّاۤىِٕلِ وَٱلۡمَحۡرُومِ ﴿٢٥﴾

per il mendicante e il diseredato;

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

وَٱلَّذِینَ یُصَدِّقُونَ بِیَوۡمِ ٱلدِّینِ ﴿٢٦﴾

coloro che attestano la verità del Giorno del Giudizio

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

وَٱلَّذِینَ هُم مِّنۡ عَذَابِ رَبِّهِم مُّشۡفِقُونَ ﴿٢٧﴾

e coloro che temono il castigo del loro Signore -

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّهِمۡ غَیۡرُ مَأۡمُونࣲ ﴿٢٨﴾

ché in verità il castigo del loro Signore non è cosa da cui si possa trovare riparo -

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

وَٱلَّذِینَ هُمۡ لِفُرُوجِهِمۡ حَـٰفِظُونَ ﴿٢٩﴾

e che si mantengono casti

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

إِلَّا عَلَىٰۤ أَزۡوَ ٰ⁠جِهِمۡ أَوۡ مَا مَلَكَتۡ أَیۡمَـٰنُهُمۡ فَإِنَّهُمۡ غَیۡرُ مَلُومِینَ ﴿٣٠﴾

eccetto che con le loro spose e con le schiave che possiedono - e in questo non sono biasimevoli,

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

فَمَنِ ٱبۡتَغَىٰ وَرَاۤءَ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ فَأُوْلَـٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ ٱلۡعَادُونَ ﴿٣١﴾

mentre coloro che desiderano altro sono i trasgressori;

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

وَٱلَّذِینَ هُمۡ لِأَمَـٰنَـٰتِهِمۡ وَعَهۡدِهِمۡ رَ ٰ⁠عُونَ ﴿٣٢﴾

coloro che rispettano ciò che è loro stato affidato e i loro impegni,

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

وَٱلَّذِینَ هُم بِشَهَـٰدَ ٰ⁠تِهِمۡ قَاۤىِٕمُونَ ﴿٣٣﴾

che rendono testimonianza sincera,

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

وَٱلَّذِینَ هُمۡ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمۡ یُحَافِظُونَ ﴿٣٤﴾

e hanno cura della loro orazione.

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

أُوْلَـٰۤىِٕكَ فِی جَنَّـٰتࣲ مُّكۡرَمُونَ ﴿٣٥﴾

Costoro saranno onorati nei Giardini.

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

فَمَالِ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُواْ قِبَلَكَ مُهۡطِعِینَ ﴿٣٦﴾

Cos'hanno mai da affrettarsi verso di te coloro che non credono,

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

عَنِ ٱلۡیَمِینِ وَعَنِ ٱلشِّمَالِ عِزِینَ ﴿٣٧﴾

[venendo] in gruppi da destra e da sinistra?

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

أَیَطۡمَعُ كُلُّ ٱمۡرِئࣲ مِّنۡهُمۡ أَن یُدۡخَلَ جَنَّةَ نَعِیمࣲ ﴿٣٨﴾

Ciascuno di loro desidera che lo si lasci entrare nel Giardino della Delizia?

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

كَلَّاۤۖ إِنَّا خَلَقۡنَـٰهُم مِّمَّا یَعۡلَمُونَ ﴿٣٩﴾

No, mai! Invero li creammo di quello che già sanno.

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

فَلَاۤ أُقۡسِمُ بِرَبِّ ٱلۡمَشَـٰرِقِ وَٱلۡمَغَـٰرِبِ إِنَّا لَقَـٰدِرُونَ ﴿٤٠﴾

Lo giuro per il Signore degli Orienti e degli Occidenti, in verità abbiamo il potere

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

عَلَىٰۤ أَن نُّبَدِّلَ خَیۡرࣰا مِّنۡهُمۡ وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمَسۡبُوقِینَ ﴿٤١﴾

di sostituirli con [altri] migliori di loro e nessuno potrebbe precederCi.

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

فَذَرۡهُمۡ یَخُوضُواْ وَیَلۡعَبُواْ حَتَّىٰ یُلَـٰقُواْ یَوۡمَهُمُ ٱلَّذِی یُوعَدُونَ ﴿٤٢﴾

Lascia dunque che disputino e giochino finché non incontreranno il Giorno che è stato loro promesso;

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

یَوۡمَ یَخۡرُجُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡأَجۡدَاثِ سِرَاعࣰا كَأَنَّهُمۡ إِلَىٰ نُصُبࣲ یُوفِضُونَ ﴿٤٣﴾

il Giorno in cui usciranno dalle tombe in fretta, come se corressero verso pietre drizzate,

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

خَـٰشِعَةً أَبۡصَـٰرُهُمۡ تَرۡهَقُهُمۡ ذِلَّةࣱۚ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ ٱلۡیَوۡمُ ٱلَّذِی كَانُواْ یُوعَدُونَ ﴿٤٤﴾

con gli sguardi umili, coperti di vergogna: questo è il Giorno che è stato loro promesso.
