ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنُ ﴿١﴾
The Most Merciful(1)
Tafseer:
عَلَّمَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ ﴿٢﴾
Taught the Qur'an,(2)
Tafseer:
خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنَ ﴿٣﴾
Created man,(3)
Tafseer:
عَلَّمَهُ ٱلۡبَیَانَ ﴿٤﴾
[And] taught him eloquence.(4)
Tafseer:
ٱلشَّمۡسُ وَٱلۡقَمَرُ بِحُسۡبَانࣲ ﴿٥﴾
The sun and the moon [move] by precise calculation,(5)
Tafseer:
وَٱلنَّجۡمُ وَٱلشَّجَرُ یَسۡجُدَانِ ﴿٦﴾
And the stars and trees prostrate.(6)
Tafseer:
وَٱلسَّمَاۤءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ ٱلۡمِیزَانَ ﴿٧﴾
And the heaven He raised and imposed the balance(7)
Tafseer:
أَلَّا تَطۡغَوۡاْ فِی ٱلۡمِیزَانِ ﴿٨﴾
That you not transgress within the balance.(8)
Tafseer:
وَأَقِیمُواْ ٱلۡوَزۡنَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ وَلَا تُخۡسِرُواْ ٱلۡمِیزَانَ ﴿٩﴾
And establish weight in justice and do not make deficient the balance.(9)
Tafseer:
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلۡأَنَامِ ﴿١٠﴾
And the earth He laid [out] for the creatures.(10)
Tafseer:
فِیهَا فَـٰكِهَةࣱ وَٱلنَّخۡلُ ذَاتُ ٱلۡأَكۡمَامِ ﴿١١﴾
Therein is fruit and palm trees having sheaths [of dates](11)
Tafseer:
وَٱلۡحَبُّ ذُو ٱلۡعَصۡفِ وَٱلرَّیۡحَانُ ﴿١٢﴾
And grain having husks and scented plants.(12)
Tafseer:
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿١٣﴾
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?(13)
Tafseer:
خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنَ مِن صَلۡصَـٰلࣲ كَٱلۡفَخَّارِ ﴿١٤﴾
He created man from clay like [that of] pottery.(14)
Tafseer:
وَخَلَقَ ٱلۡجَاۤنَّ مِن مَّارِجࣲ مِّن نَّارࣲ ﴿١٥﴾
And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire.(15)
Tafseer:
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿١٦﴾
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?(16)
Tafseer:
رَبُّ ٱلۡمَشۡرِقَیۡنِ وَرَبُّ ٱلۡمَغۡرِبَیۡنِ ﴿١٧﴾
[He is] Lord of the two sunrises and Lord of the two sunsets.(17)
Tafseer:
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿١٨﴾
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?(18)
Tafseer:
مَرَجَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَیۡنِ یَلۡتَقِیَانِ ﴿١٩﴾
He released the two seas, meeting [side by side];(19)
Tafseer:
بَیۡنَهُمَا بَرۡزَخࣱ لَّا یَبۡغِیَانِ ﴿٢٠﴾
Between them is a barrier [so] neither of them transgresses.(20)
Tafseer:
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٢١﴾
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?(21)
Tafseer:
یَخۡرُجُ مِنۡهُمَا ٱللُّؤۡلُؤُ وَٱلۡمَرۡجَانُ ﴿٢٢﴾
From both of them emerge pearl and coral.(22)
Tafseer:
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٢٣﴾
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?(23)
Tafseer:
وَلَهُ ٱلۡجَوَارِ ٱلۡمُنشَـَٔاتُ فِی ٱلۡبَحۡرِ كَٱلۡأَعۡلَـٰمِ ﴿٢٤﴾
And to Him belong the ships [with sails] elevated in the sea like mountains.(24)
Tafseer:
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٢٥﴾
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?(25)
Tafseer:
كُلُّ مَنۡ عَلَیۡهَا فَانࣲ ﴿٢٦﴾
Everyone upon the earth will perish,(26)
Tafseer:
وَیَبۡقَىٰ وَجۡهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو ٱلۡجَلَـٰلِ وَٱلۡإِكۡرَامِ ﴿٢٧﴾
And there will remain the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor.(27)
Tafseer:
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٢٨﴾
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?(28)
Tafseer:
یَسۡـَٔلُهُۥ مَن فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ كُلَّ یَوۡمٍ هُوَ فِی شَأۡنࣲ ﴿٢٩﴾
Whoever is within the heavens and earth asks Him; every day He is bringing about a matter.(29)
Tafseer:
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٣٠﴾
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?(30)
Tafseer:
سَنَفۡرُغُ لَكُمۡ أَیُّهَ ٱلثَّقَلَانِ ﴿٣١﴾
We will attend to you, O prominent beings.(31)
Tafseer:
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٣٢﴾
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?(32)
Tafseer:
یَـٰمَعۡشَرَ ٱلۡجِنِّ وَٱلۡإِنسِ إِنِ ٱسۡتَطَعۡتُمۡ أَن تَنفُذُواْ مِنۡ أَقۡطَارِ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَٱنفُذُواْۚ لَا تَنفُذُونَ إِلَّا بِسُلۡطَـٰنࣲ ﴿٣٣﴾
O company of jinn and mankind, if you are able to pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass. You will not pass except by authority [from Allah].(33)
Tafseer:
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٣٤﴾
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?(34)
Tafseer:
یُرۡسَلُ عَلَیۡكُمَا شُوَاظࣱ مِّن نَّارࣲ وَنُحَاسࣱ فَلَا تَنتَصِرَانِ ﴿٣٥﴾
There will be sent upon you a flame of fire and smoke, and you will not defend yourselves.(35)
Tafseer:
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٣٦﴾
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?(36)
Tafseer:
فَإِذَا ٱنشَقَّتِ ٱلسَّمَاۤءُ فَكَانَتۡ وَرۡدَةࣰ كَٱلدِّهَانِ ﴿٣٧﴾
And when the heaven is split open and becomes rose-colored like oil -(37)
Tafseer:
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٣٨﴾
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -(38)
Tafseer:
فَیَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ لَّا یُسۡـَٔلُ عَن ذَنۢبِهِۦۤ إِنسࣱ وَلَا جَاۤنࣱّ ﴿٣٩﴾
Then on that Day none will be asked about his sin among men or jinn.(39)
Tafseer:
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٤٠﴾
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?(40)
Tafseer:
یُعۡرَفُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ بِسِیمَـٰهُمۡ فَیُؤۡخَذُ بِٱلنَّوَ ٰ⁠صِی وَٱلۡأَقۡدَامِ ﴿٤١﴾
The criminals will be known by their marks, and they will be seized by the forelocks and the feet.(41)
Tafseer:
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٤٢﴾
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?(42)
Tafseer:
هَـٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِی یُكَذِّبُ بِهَا ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ ﴿٤٣﴾
This is Hell, which the criminals deny.(43)
Tafseer:
یَطُوفُونَ بَیۡنَهَا وَبَیۡنَ حَمِیمٍ ءَانࣲ ﴿٤٤﴾
They will go around between it and scalding water, heated [to the utmost degree].(44)
Tafseer:
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٤٥﴾
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?(45)
Tafseer:
وَلِمَنۡ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ جَنَّتَانِ ﴿٤٦﴾
But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens -(46)
Tafseer:
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٤٧﴾
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -(47)
Tafseer:
ذَوَاتَاۤ أَفۡنَانࣲ ﴿٤٨﴾
Having [spreading] branches.(48)
Tafseer:
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٤٩﴾
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?(49)
Tafseer:
فِیهِمَا عَیۡنَانِ تَجۡرِیَانِ ﴿٥٠﴾
In both of them are two springs, flowing.(50)
Tafseer:
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٥١﴾
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?(51)
Tafseer:
فِیهِمَا مِن كُلِّ فَـٰكِهَةࣲ زَوۡجَانِ ﴿٥٢﴾
In both of them are of every fruit, two kinds.(52)
Tafseer:
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٥٣﴾
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?(53)
Tafseer:
مُتَّكِـِٔینَ عَلَىٰ فُرُشِۭ بَطَاۤىِٕنُهَا مِنۡ إِسۡتَبۡرَقࣲۚ وَجَنَى ٱلۡجَنَّتَیۡنِ دَانࣲ ﴿٥٤﴾
[They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low.(54)
Tafseer:
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٥٥﴾
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?(55)
Tafseer:
فِیهِنَّ قَـٰصِرَ ٰ⁠تُ ٱلطَّرۡفِ لَمۡ یَطۡمِثۡهُنَّ إِنسࣱ قَبۡلَهُمۡ وَلَا جَاۤنࣱّ ﴿٥٦﴾
In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni -(56)
Tafseer:
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٥٧﴾
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -(57)
Tafseer:
كَأَنَّهُنَّ ٱلۡیَاقُوتُ وَٱلۡمَرۡجَانُ ﴿٥٨﴾
As if they were rubies and coral.(58)
Tafseer:
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٥٩﴾
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?(59)
Tafseer:
هَلۡ جَزَاۤءُ ٱلۡإِحۡسَـٰنِ إِلَّا ٱلۡإِحۡسَـٰنُ ﴿٦٠﴾
Is the reward for good [anything] but good?(60)
Tafseer:
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٦١﴾
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?(61)
Tafseer:
وَمِن دُونِهِمَا جَنَّتَانِ ﴿٦٢﴾
And below them both [in excellence] are two [other] gardens -(62)
Tafseer:
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٦٣﴾
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -(63)
Tafseer:
مُدۡهَاۤمَّتَانِ ﴿٦٤﴾
Dark green [in color].(64)
Tafseer:
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٦٥﴾
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?(65)
Tafseer:
فِیهِمَا عَیۡنَانِ نَضَّاخَتَانِ ﴿٦٦﴾
In both of them are two springs, spouting.(66)
Tafseer:
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٦٧﴾
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?(67)
Tafseer:
فِیهِمَا فَـٰكِهَةࣱ وَنَخۡلࣱ وَرُمَّانࣱ ﴿٦٨﴾
In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranates.(68)
Tafseer:
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٦٩﴾
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?(69)
Tafseer:
فِیهِنَّ خَیۡرَ ٰ⁠تٌ حِسَانࣱ ﴿٧٠﴾
In them are good and beautiful women -(70)
Tafseer:
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٧١﴾
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -(71)
Tafseer:
حُورࣱ مَّقۡصُورَ ٰ⁠تࣱ فِی ٱلۡخِیَامِ ﴿٧٢﴾
Fair ones reserved in pavilions -(72)
Tafseer:
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٧٣﴾
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -(73)
Tafseer:
لَمۡ یَطۡمِثۡهُنَّ إِنسࣱ قَبۡلَهُمۡ وَلَا جَاۤنࣱّ ﴿٧٤﴾
Untouched before them by man or jinni -(74)
Tafseer:
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٧٥﴾
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -(75)
Tafseer:
مُتَّكِـِٔینَ عَلَىٰ رَفۡرَفٍ خُضۡرࣲ وَعَبۡقَرِیٍّ حِسَانࣲ ﴿٧٦﴾
Reclining on green cushions and beautiful fine carpets.(76)
Tafseer:
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٧٧﴾
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?(77)
Tafseer:
تَبَـٰرَكَ ٱسۡمُ رَبِّكَ ذِی ٱلۡجَلَـٰلِ وَٱلۡإِكۡرَامِ ﴿٧٨﴾
Blessed is the name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor.(78)
