أَلۡهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ
﴿١﴾
The mutual rivalry for piling up (the good things of this world) diverts you (from the more serious things),(1)
Tafseer:
حَتَّىٰ زُرۡتُمُ ٱلۡمَقَابِرَ
﴿٢﴾
Until ye visit the graves.(2)
Tafseer:
كَلَّا سَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ
﴿٣﴾
But nay, ye soon shall know (the reality).(3)
Tafseer:
ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ
﴿٤﴾
Again, ye soon shall know!(4)
Tafseer:
كَلَّا لَوۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ عِلۡمَ ٱلۡیَقِینِ
﴿٥﴾
Nay, were ye to know with certainty of mind, (ye would beware!)(5)
Tafseer:
لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلۡجَحِیمَ
﴿٦﴾
Ye shall certainly see Hell-Fire!(6)
Tafseer:
ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَیۡنَ ٱلۡیَقِینِ
﴿٧﴾
Again, ye shall see it with certainty of sight!(7)
Tafseer:
ثُمَّ لَتُسۡـَٔلُنَّ یَوۡمَىِٕذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِیمِ
﴿٨﴾
Then, shall ye be questioned that Day about the joy (ye indulged in!).(8)
