﴿١﴾
By the Night as it conceals (the light);(1)
Tafseer:
﴿٢﴾
By the Day as it appears in glory;(2)
Tafseer:
﴿٣﴾
By (the mystery of) the creation of male and female;-(3)
Tafseer:
﴿٤﴾
Verily, (the ends) ye strive for are diverse.(4)
Tafseer:
﴿٥﴾
So he who gives (in charity) and fears (Allah),(5)
Tafseer:
﴿٦﴾
And (in all sincerity) testifies to the best,-(6)
Tafseer:
﴿٧﴾
We will indeed make smooth for him the path to Bliss.(7)
Tafseer:
﴿٨﴾
But he who is a greedy miser and thinks himself self-sufficient,(8)
Tafseer:
﴿٩﴾
And gives the lie to the best,-(9)
Tafseer:
We will indeed make smooth for him the path to Misery;(10)
Tafseer:
Nor will his wealth profit him when he falls headlong (into the Pit).(11)
Tafseer:
Verily We take upon Ourselves to guide,(12)
Tafseer:
And verily unto Us (belong) the End and the Beginning.(13)
Tafseer:
Therefore do I warn you of a Fire blazing fiercely;(14)
Tafseer:
None shall reach it but those most unfortunate ones(15)
Tafseer:
Who give the lie to Truth and turn their backs.(16)
Tafseer:
But those most devoted to Allah shall be removed far from it,-(17)
Tafseer:
Those who spend their wealth for increase in self-purification,(18)
Tafseer:
And have in their minds no favour from anyone for which a reward is expected in return,(19)
Tafseer:
But only the desire to seek for the Countenance of their Lord Most High;(20)
Tafseer:
And soon will they attain (complete) satisfaction.(21)
Tafseer:
