Surah Nooh - Aya count 28

إِنَّاۤ أَرۡسَلۡنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِۦۤ أَنۡ أَنذِرۡ قَوۡمَكَ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن یَأۡتِیَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِیمࣱ ﴿١﴾

In verità inviammo Noè al suo popolo: “Avverti il tuo popolo prima che giunga loro un doloroso castigo”.

قَالَ یَـٰقَوۡمِ إِنِّی لَكُمۡ نَذِیرࣱ مُّبِینٌ ﴿٢﴾

Disse: “O popol mio, in verità io sono per voi un ammonitore evidente:

أَنِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَٱتَّقُوهُ وَأَطِیعُونِ ﴿٣﴾

adorate Allah, temeteLo e obbeditemi,

یَغۡفِرۡ لَكُم مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمۡ وَیُؤَخِّرۡكُمۡ إِلَىٰۤ أَجَلࣲ مُّسَمًّىۚ إِنَّ أَجَلَ ٱللَّهِ إِذَا جَاۤءَ لَا یُؤَخَّرُۚ لَوۡ كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ ﴿٤﴾

affinché perdoni una parte dei vostri peccati e vi conceda dilazione fino a un termine stabilito; ma quando giungerà il termine di Allah non potrà essere rimandato, se [solo] lo sapeste”.

قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّی دَعَوۡتُ قَوۡمِی لَیۡلࣰا وَنَهَارࣰا ﴿٥﴾

Disse: “Signore, ho chiamato il mio popolo giorno e notte,

فَلَمۡ یَزِدۡهُمۡ دُعَاۤءِیۤ إِلَّا فِرَارࣰا ﴿٦﴾

ma il mio richiamo ha solo accresciuto la loro repulsione.

وَإِنِّی كُلَّمَا دَعَوۡتُهُمۡ لِتَغۡفِرَ لَهُمۡ جَعَلُوۤاْ أَصَـٰبِعَهُمۡ فِیۤ ءَاذَانِهِمۡ وَٱسۡتَغۡشَوۡاْ ثِیَابَهُمۡ وَأَصَرُّواْ وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ ٱسۡتِكۡبَارࣰا ﴿٧﴾

Ogni volta che li chiamavo affinché Tu li perdonassi, si turavano le orecchie con le dita e si avvolgevano nelle loro vesti, pervicaci e tronfi di superbia.

ثُمَّ إِنِّی دَعَوۡتُهُمۡ جِهَارࣰا ﴿٨﴾

Poi li ho chiamati ad alta voce.

ثُمَّ إِنِّیۤ أَعۡلَنتُ لَهُمۡ وَأَسۡرَرۡتُ لَهُمۡ إِسۡرَارࣰا ﴿٩﴾

Li ho arringati e ho parlato loro in segreto,

فَقُلۡتُ ٱسۡتَغۡفِرُواْ رَبَّكُمۡ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ غَفَّارࣰا ﴿١٠﴾

dicendo: Implorate il perdono del vostro Signore, Egli è Colui Che molto perdona,

یُرۡسِلِ ٱلسَّمَاۤءَ عَلَیۡكُم مِّدۡرَارࣰا ﴿١١﴾

affinché vi invii dal cielo una pioggia abbondante,

وَیُمۡدِدۡكُم بِأَمۡوَ ٰ⁠لࣲ وَبَنِینَ وَیَجۡعَل لَّكُمۡ جَنَّـٰتࣲ وَیَجۡعَل لَّكُمۡ أَنۡهَـٰرࣰا ﴿١٢﴾

accresca i vostri beni e i vostri figli e vi conceda giardini e ruscelli.

مَّا لَكُمۡ لَا تَرۡجُونَ لِلَّهِ وَقَارࣰا ﴿١٣﴾

Perché non confidate nella magnanimità di Allah,

وَقَدۡ خَلَقَكُمۡ أَطۡوَارًا ﴿١٤﴾

quando è Lui che vi ha creati in fasi successive?

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

أَلَمۡ تَرَوۡاْ كَیۡفَ خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ سَبۡعَ سَمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تࣲ طِبَاقࣰا ﴿١٥﴾

Non avete considerato come Allah ha creato sette cieli sovrapposti

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

وَجَعَلَ ٱلۡقَمَرَ فِیهِنَّ نُورࣰا وَجَعَلَ ٱلشَّمۡسَ سِرَاجࣰا ﴿١٦﴾

e della luna ha fatto una luce e del sole un luminare.

وَٱللَّهُ أَنۢبَتَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ نَبَاتࣰا ﴿١٧﴾

È Allah che vi ha fatto sorgere dalla terra come piante.

ثُمَّ یُعِیدُكُمۡ فِیهَا وَیُخۡرِجُكُمۡ إِخۡرَاجࣰا ﴿١٨﴾

Poi vi rimanderà [ad essa] e vi farà risorgere.

وَٱللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بِسَاطࣰا ﴿١٩﴾

Allah ha fatto della terra un tappeto per voi,

لِّتَسۡلُكُواْ مِنۡهَا سُبُلࣰا فِجَاجࣰا ﴿٢٠﴾

affinché possiate viaggiare su spaziose vie”.

قَالَ نُوحࣱ رَّبِّ إِنَّهُمۡ عَصَوۡنِی وَٱتَّبَعُواْ مَن لَّمۡ یَزِدۡهُ مَالُهُۥ وَوَلَدُهُۥۤ إِلَّا خَسَارࣰا ﴿٢١﴾

Disse Noè: “Signore, mi hanno disobbedito seguendo coloro i cui beni e figli non fanno che aumentarne la rovina;

وَمَكَرُواْ مَكۡرࣰا كُبَّارࣰا ﴿٢٢﴾

hanno tramato un'enorme trama

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

وَقَالُواْ لَا تَذَرُنَّ ءَالِهَتَكُمۡ وَلَا تَذَرُنَّ وَدࣰّا وَلَا سُوَاعࣰا وَلَا یَغُوثَ وَیَعُوقَ وَنَسۡرࣰا ﴿٢٣﴾

e hanno detto: Non abbandonate i vostri dèi, non abbandonate né Wadd, né Suwâ, né Yaghûth, né Yaûq, né Nasr”.

وَقَدۡ أَضَلُّواْ كَثِیرࣰاۖ وَلَا تَزِدِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِینَ إِلَّا ضَلَـٰلࣰا ﴿٢٤﴾

Essi ne hanno traviati molti; [Signore,] non accrescere gli ingiusti altro che nella perdizione”.

مِّمَّا خَطِیۤـَٔـٰتِهِمۡ أُغۡرِقُواْ فَأُدۡخِلُواْ نَارࣰا فَلَمۡ یَجِدُواْ لَهُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَنصَارࣰا ﴿٢٥﴾

A causa dei loro peccati sono stati affogati e poi introdotti nel Fuoco, e non trovarono nessun soccorritore all'infuori di Allah.

وَقَالَ نُوحࣱ رَّبِّ لَا تَذَرۡ عَلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مِنَ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ دَیَّارًا ﴿٢٦﴾

Pregò Noè: “Signore, non lasciare sulla terra alcun abitante che sia miscredente!

إِنَّكَ إِن تَذَرۡهُمۡ یُضِلُّواْ عِبَادَكَ وَلَا یَلِدُوۤاْ إِلَّا فَاجِرࣰا كَفَّارࣰا ﴿٢٧﴾

Se li risparmierai, travieranno i Tuoi servi e non genereranno altro che perversi ingrati.

رَّبِّ ٱغۡفِرۡ لِی وَلِوَ ٰ⁠لِدَیَّ وَلِمَن دَخَلَ بَیۡتِیَ مُؤۡمِنࣰا وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَـٰتِۖ وَلَا تَزِدِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِینَ إِلَّا تَبَارَۢا ﴿٢٨﴾

Signore, perdona a me, ai miei genitori, a chi entra nella mia casa come credente, ai credenti e alle credenti; non accrescere gli ingiusti altro che nella rovina”.
