Surah Al-Muzzammil (The One wrapped in Garments) - Aya count 20

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلۡمُزَّمِّلُ ﴿١﴾

O tu l'avvolto [nelle tue vesti],

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

قُمِ ٱلَّیۡلَ إِلَّا قَلِیلࣰا ﴿٢﴾

veglia una parte della notte,

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

نِّصۡفَهُۥۤ أَوِ ٱنقُصۡ مِنۡهُ قَلِیلًا ﴿٣﴾

la metà, oppure meno,

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

أَوۡ زِدۡ عَلَیۡهِ وَرَتِّلِ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ تَرۡتِیلًا ﴿٤﴾

oppure poco più. E recita il Corano lentamente, distintamente.

إِنَّا سَنُلۡقِی عَلَیۡكَ قَوۡلࣰا ثَقِیلًا ﴿٥﴾

Faremo scendere su di te parole gravi.

إِنَّ نَاشِئَةَ ٱلَّیۡلِ هِیَ أَشَدُّ وَطۡـࣰٔا وَأَقۡوَمُ قِیلًا ﴿٦﴾

In verità la preghiera della notte è la più efficace e la più propizia:

إِنَّ لَكَ فِی ٱلنَّهَارِ سَبۡحࣰا طَوِیلࣰا ﴿٧﴾

durante il giorno hai occupazioni impegnative.

وَٱذۡكُرِ ٱسۡمَ رَبِّكَ وَتَبَتَّلۡ إِلَیۡهِ تَبۡتِیلࣰا ﴿٨﴾

Menziona il Nome del tuo Signore e consacrati totalmente a Lui.

رَّبُّ ٱلۡمَشۡرِقِ وَٱلۡمَغۡرِبِ لَاۤ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ فَٱتَّخِذۡهُ وَكِیلࣰا ﴿٩﴾

Il Signore dell'Oriente e dell'Occidente: non c'è dio all'infuori di Lui. Prendi Lui come Protettore.

وَٱصۡبِرۡ عَلَىٰ مَا یَقُولُونَ وَٱهۡجُرۡهُمۡ هَجۡرࣰا جَمِیلࣰا ﴿١٠﴾

Sopporta con pazienza quello che dicono e allontanati dignitosamente.

وَذَرۡنِی وَٱلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ أُوْلِی ٱلنَّعۡمَةِ وَمَهِّلۡهُمۡ قَلِیلًا ﴿١١﴾

LasciaMi con coloro che tacciano di menzogna, che vivono nell'agiatezza e concedi loro un po' di tempo.

إِنَّ لَدَیۡنَاۤ أَنكَالࣰا وَجَحِیمࣰا ﴿١٢﴾

Invero presso di Noi ci sono catene e la Fornace

وَطَعَامࣰا ذَا غُصَّةࣲ وَعَذَابًا أَلِیمࣰا ﴿١٣﴾

e cibo che soffoca e doloroso castigo,

یَوۡمَ تَرۡجُفُ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ وَٱلۡجِبَالُ وَكَانَتِ ٱلۡجِبَالُ كَثِیبࣰا مَّهِیلًا ﴿١٤﴾

nel Giorno in cui la terra e le montagne tremeranno e in cui le montagne diventeranno come dune di sabbia fina.

إِنَّاۤ أَرۡسَلۡنَاۤ إِلَیۡكُمۡ رَسُولࣰا شَـٰهِدًا عَلَیۡكُمۡ كَمَاۤ أَرۡسَلۡنَاۤ إِلَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنَ رَسُولࣰا ﴿١٥﴾

In verità inviammo a voi un Messaggero, affinché testimoniasse contro di voi, così come inviammo un Messaggero a Faraone.

فَعَصَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنُ ٱلرَّسُولَ فَأَخَذۡنَـٰهُ أَخۡذࣰا وَبِیلࣰا ﴿١٦﴾

Ma Faraone disobbedì al Messaggero.Lo afferrammo allora con stretta severa.

فَكَیۡفَ تَتَّقُونَ إِن كَفَرۡتُمۡ یَوۡمࣰا یَجۡعَلُ ٱلۡوِلۡدَ ٰ⁠نَ شِیبًا ﴿١٧﴾

Come vi difenderete, voi che già non credeste nel Giorno che trasformerà i bambini in vecchi canuti

ٱلسَّمَاۤءُ مُنفَطِرُۢ بِهِۦۚ كَانَ وَعۡدُهُۥ مَفۡعُولًا ﴿١٨﴾

[nel Giorno in cui] si spaccherà il cielo? La promessa [di Allah] si realizzerà.

إِنَّ هَـٰذِهِۦ تَذۡكِرَةࣱۖ فَمَن شَاۤءَ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ سَبِیلًا ﴿١٩﴾

In verità questo è un Monito. Chi vuole, intraprenda dunque la via che conduce al suo Signore.

۞ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ یَعۡلَمُ أَنَّكَ تَقُومُ أَدۡنَىٰ مِن ثُلُثَیِ ٱلَّیۡلِ وَنِصۡفَهُۥ وَثُلُثَهُۥ وَطَاۤىِٕفَةࣱ مِّنَ ٱلَّذِینَ مَعَكَۚ وَٱللَّهُ یُقَدِّرُ ٱلَّیۡلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَۚ عَلِمَ أَن لَّن تُحۡصُوهُ فَتَابَ عَلَیۡكُمۡۖ فَٱقۡرَءُواْ مَا تَیَسَّرَ مِنَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِۚ عَلِمَ أَن سَیَكُونُ مِنكُم مَّرۡضَىٰ وَءَاخَرُونَ یَضۡرِبُونَ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ یَبۡتَغُونَ مِن فَضۡلِ ٱللَّهِ وَءَاخَرُونَ یُقَـٰتِلُونَ فِی سَبِیلِ ٱللَّهِۖ فَٱقۡرَءُواْ مَا تَیَسَّرَ مِنۡهُۚ وَأَقِیمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُواْ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَأَقۡرِضُواْ ٱللَّهَ قَرۡضًا حَسَنࣰاۚ وَمَا تُقَدِّمُواْ لِأَنفُسِكُم مِّنۡ خَیۡرࣲ تَجِدُوهُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ هُوَ خَیۡرࣰا وَأَعۡظَمَ أَجۡرࣰاۚ وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرُواْ ٱللَّهَۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورࣱ رَّحِیمُۢ ﴿٢٠﴾

In verità il tuo Signore sa che stai ritto [in preghiera] per quasi due terzi della notte, o la metà, o un terzo e che lo stesso [fanno] una parte di coloro che sono con te. Allah ha stabilito la notte e il giorno. Egli già sapeva che non avreste potuto passare tutta la notte in preghiera ed è stato indulgente verso di voi. Recitate dunque, del Corano, quello che vi sarà agevole. Egli già sapeva che ci sarebbero stati tra voi i malati ed altri che avrebbero viaggiato sulla terra in cerca della grazia di Allah ed altri ancora che avrebbero lottato per la Sua causa. Recitatene dunque quello che vi sarà agevole. Assolvete all'orazione e versate la decima e fate ad Allah un prestito bello. Tutto il bene che avrete compiuto, lo ritroverete presso Allah, migliore e maggiore ricompensa. Implorate il perdono di Allah. In verità Allah è perdonatore, misericordioso.
