سَبِّحِ ٱسۡمَ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡأَعۡلَى
﴿١﴾
Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High,(1)
Tafseer:
ٱلَّذِی خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ
﴿٢﴾
Who created and proportioned(2)
Tafseer:
وَٱلَّذِی قَدَّرَ فَهَدَىٰ
﴿٣﴾
And who destined and [then] guided(3)
Tafseer:
وَٱلَّذِیۤ أَخۡرَجَ ٱلۡمَرۡعَىٰ
﴿٤﴾
And who brings out the pasture(4)
Tafseer:
فَجَعَلَهُۥ غُثَاۤءً أَحۡوَىٰ
﴿٥﴾
And [then] makes it black stubble.(5)
Tafseer:
سَنُقۡرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنسَىٰۤ
﴿٦﴾
We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget,(6)
Tafseer:
إِلَّا مَا شَاۤءَ ٱللَّهُۚ إِنَّهُۥ یَعۡلَمُ ٱلۡجَهۡرَ وَمَا یَخۡفَىٰ
﴿٧﴾
Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden.(7)
Tafseer:
وَنُیَسِّرُكَ لِلۡیُسۡرَىٰ
﴿٨﴾
And We will ease you toward ease.(8)
Tafseer:
فَذَكِّرۡ إِن نَّفَعَتِ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ
﴿٩﴾
So remind, if the reminder should benefit;(9)
Tafseer:
سَیَذَّكَّرُ مَن یَخۡشَىٰ
﴿١٠﴾
He who fears [Allah] will be reminded.(10)
Tafseer:
وَیَتَجَنَّبُهَا ٱلۡأَشۡقَى
﴿١١﴾
But the wretched one will avoid it -(11)
Tafseer:
ٱلَّذِی یَصۡلَى ٱلنَّارَ ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰ
﴿١٢﴾
[He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire,(12)
Tafseer:
ثُمَّ لَا یَمُوتُ فِیهَا وَلَا یَحۡیَىٰ
﴿١٣﴾
Neither dying therein nor living.(13)
Tafseer:
قَدۡ أَفۡلَحَ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ
﴿١٤﴾
He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself(14)
Tafseer:
وَذَكَرَ ٱسۡمَ رَبِّهِۦ فَصَلَّىٰ
﴿١٥﴾
And mentions the name of his Lord and prays.(15)
Tafseer:
بَلۡ تُؤۡثِرُونَ ٱلۡحَیَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡیَا
﴿١٦﴾
But you prefer the worldly life,(16)
Tafseer:
وَٱلۡـَٔاخِرَةُ خَیۡرࣱ وَأَبۡقَىٰۤ
﴿١٧﴾
While the Hereafter is better and more enduring.(17)
Tafseer:
إِنَّ هَـٰذَا لَفِی ٱلصُّحُفِ ٱلۡأُولَىٰ
﴿١٨﴾
Indeed, this is in the former scriptures,(18)
Tafseer:
صُحُفِ إِبۡرَ ٰهِیمَ وَمُوسَىٰ
﴿١٩﴾
The scriptures of Abraham and Moses.(19)
